Active Ingredients by Functional Groups

The amino-energy blend contains active ingredients that increase nitric oxide production in your body and boost carnosine production in your muscles, along with a unique combination of two types of L-arginine, L-citrulline malate, taurine, and beta-alanine, plus vitamins and accompanying elements. Although arginine is not an essential amino acid (the human body can produce it on its own), under certain circumstances its production does not meet the demand, necessitating additional intake. Beta-alanine is a special amino acid with a unique chemical structure that differs from the amino acids that build proteins. It is combined with histidine and carnosine and accumulates in the muscles in significant amounts.

Creatine—a highly nitrogenous compound synthesized from an L-amino acid precursor—is a key molecule in cellular energy storage. For cellular processes requiring energy (such as biochemical reactions or the functioning of contractile proteins responsible for muscle contractions), cells use ATP (adenosine triphosphate) as fuel; however, this fuel is quickly expended. During this process, ATP releases a phosphate group and is converted into ADP (adenosine diphosphate). The importance of creatine lies in the fact that the phosphate group released from creatine phosphate can replenish ADP. In other words, creatine (or creatine phosphate) supplies the component that produces energy by aiding in the rapid regeneration of ATP.

Caffeine, widely known from coffee, tea, and energy drinks, affects cellular metabolism by blocking certain enzymes and extending specific hormonal and nervous system effects, thereby ensuring increased alertness and improved physical performance.
